Health and Safety Warning:
Before engaging in any physical activity, including running or walking as part of the Great Canadian Running Challenge, participants should consult with a healthcare professional to ensure that they are in appropriate physical condition for such activities. The Challenge may not be suitable for everyone, and those with pre-existing health conditions, injuries, or concerns regarding their fitness level should seek medical advice prior to participation.
Assumption of Risk:
Participants recognize that running and walking, like any physical activity, carries inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, health complications, or adverse effects. By participating in the Challenge, each participant assumes full responsibility for any risks associated with their involvement, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, weather conditions, and any other potential hazards.

The organizers of The Great Canadian Running Challenge, including affiliated entities, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and any individuals associated with the Challenge, shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur as a result of participation in the Challenge. This includes any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Participants agree to release and hold harmless the organizers and affiliated entities from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from their participation.
Objectives and Participant Responsibilities:
Participants are encouraged to set their own goals and maintain a realistic approach to their fitness journey. It is each participant’s responsibility to track their own progress, stay hydrated, dress appropriately for weather conditions, and listen to their bodies throughout the Challenge. Participants should avoid overexertion and discontinue participation if they experience any pain or discomfort.

The organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Challenge at any time for any reason. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.
